Deb Hicks has over thirty years of HR experience, including: SVP, Chief People and Culture Officer at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Associate Dean and Chief HR Officer at Harvard Medical school, VP of Human Resources during the turnaround of Harvard Pilgrim Health Care. In 2014 She was appointed by the then Governor-elect for Massachusetts, Charlie Baker to serve as co-chair of his administration’s Human Resources transition team.
Deb is now Principal of Deb Hicks & Associates LLC, dedicated to the support and develop of leaders, their organizations. She continues to be a thought leader within her profession and is currently a member of the Board of Visitors for the D’Amore-McKim School of Business at Northeastern University, both Governing Board Member and Advisory Board Chair for the DJ Henry Dream Fund, and a mentor for Conexion (advancing Latinx leadership).
She is a proud 16 year rider of the Pan-Mass Challenge, mother of two awesome sons and partner to her endlessly supportive husband who worked for MIT the majority of his professional career! Deb is known for her energy, authenticity, courage to speak truth, and for her relentless sense of humor!
